BREWERY & WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
The Kombucha Shop is an e-commerce based home brew supply company founded on the simple idea that health and wellness should be accessible to all. Located in Madison, WI, we package and ship kombucha brewing kits and supplies to our customers all over North America. The Kombucha Shop seeks an enthusiastic and highly motivated Brewery & Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Madison, WI headquarters. This is a full-time position. Starting pay is $12/hour with opportunity for advancement. Free crew lunch every Friday. Position includes paid sick leave and paid holidays.
Your job will be a marriage of creative problem-solving and flawless execution of repetitive tasks. This job is unique - your time will be shared between the kombucha brewery and the fulfillment warehouse (in the same location). Expect an average day to include everything from fulfilling orders, packing products on the line, processing inventory, interfacing with both online and wholesale customers, as well as brewing kombucha, harvesting kombucha cultures, cleaning, washing equipment, and helping to continuously improve brewing processes.

Job Responsibilities & Working Conditions
Receive deliveries and unload products
Package products to highest degree of quality
Maintain tidy work environment
Clean and work to protect all equipment and inventory
Promptly report all maintenance or damage information to management
Perform daily tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures
Use of box cutters
Operate pallet jacks
Standing and walking for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours
Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a cold, hot, and occasionally loud environment
At least 21 years of age
Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years in a food/beverage, manufacturing, pick and pack, or brewery position
Experience brewing kombucha at home or in a commercial setting
Extremely detail oriented and organized with an ability to work independently
Strong customer relations, communication and interpersonal skills
Able to understand and follow instructions, both written and oral
Maintain team-oriented working relationships with fellow crew members
Exhibits patience at all times
