By adding just a teaspoon of crystallized ginger to your kombucha bottles, you'll gain the well-known anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties of this time tested superfood. It's also a great way to gain extra fizz in your 2F from both the crystalized sugar as well as the wild yeasts and bacteria that naturally live on ginger.

How Much Do I Use? Use 1-3 teaspoons per 16 oz of kombucha. You can dice the pieces even finer to bring out a more intense ginger flavor.

How Do I Use Them? 1) Drop ginger pieces straight into a second fermentation bottle or growler 2) Make into a simple syrup for flavoring in a second fermentation

What’s A Good Pairing? Goes perfectly in nearly all kombucha

Cayenne Cleanse



  • 16 oz kombucha
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1 tsp crystalized ginger
  • Pinch of cayenne powder



Add ingredients to a 16oz bottle and seal tightly. Store in a warm, dark place for 2-4 days, then refrigerate to chill. Strain before serving and enjoy! 

Makes 1 16 oz bottle of kombucha.
