Apple Pie Kombucha

  • 4 cups (32 oz) kombucha
  • ¼ apple, cut into small pieces
  • 2 inch cinnamon stick, broken into smaller pieces
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger (grated) or crystalized ginger 
  • 2 seeds from a cardamom pod, or ⅛ tsp ground cardamom
  • ⅛ tsp allspice
  • ⅛ tsp nutmeg


Combine all fruits and spices and split between two 16 oz bottles. Top with kombucha, seal tightly, and store in a warm, dark place for 2-4 days. Chill and strain before serving.

Makes 2 16 oz bottles of kombucha.
